Four States Are Out
Washington, Nevada and Idaho have been off the map for years, and California was removed in January 2026. Everywhere else, you can open an account and start collecting.
The Reasons Behind It
Washington runs the tightest online gaming rules of any state. Nevada protects its licensed casino sector. Idaho excludes the model outright. California is the recent change, and operators updated quietly rather than fight it.

The floor is 18 at most sites, 21 at a few, and 21 in certain states no matter what the operator says. Check the site terms rather than assuming.
